The OrcaTrip blog was created in the summer of 2015 and since then has made an to see as much of the world as possible. This effort can be an expensive proposition. One way we think we can cover a lot of new territory for a relatively affordable price is by utilizing the southwest companion pass. We earned this pass by the second week of January 2016 and its good until December 31, 2017. That’s 102 weeks of a companion flying for free. Our goal is to fly at least 1 place a month for the next 23 months. As we book trips and travel, this site will be used to document the over all costs that we incur while traveling with the southwest companion pass. Additionally, we will share tips that we discover along the way.
