Southwest Companion Pass

saving assumption

If the average round trip flight assumption is wrong and the prices are more expensive, one of two things will result.

  1. We will go to less places, but still will hit the same projected target savings.
  2. We will go to the same number of places, and the actual savings will be more than the projected.

Conversely, if prices end up averaging cheaper (not likely), one of two things will result.

  1. We will go to more places, but still will hit the same projected target savings.
  2. We will go to the same number of places, and the actual savings will be less than the projected.

Cost = (Number of destinations visited) * (Average cost of trip)
